reinstalling nero 7

hi gang

when i just reinstalled nero 7 from the nero website while using the soundtrax it crashed.if i try and install the nero 7 using the cd then
try and update it it has to uninstall the version i installed freom the
cd.which would be the best way to install nero 7-with the cd or from the website?

I have always obtained Nero through a download; never purchased a CD... You are more likely to get the latest release from their web site, so I would go with that... search their site for their clean tools... it does not uninstall well. I think Ian posted a link in one of the threads here.

i did a clean up with nero clean tool.i then reinstalled nero 7 and again
whrn using nero 7 soundtrax it crashed.

I mentioned this to someone else in another thread... you may want to give Audacity a try as an alternative to SoundTrax. I won't criticize SoundTrax because I never used it, but I do like Audacity. It does look like SoundTrax has some wizards, but Audacity's howto's are pretty good. By the way, it is open source and free... though if you like it I am sure the author would appreciate a donation.

id much rather stick to nero 7......i no about audicity though.i also have roxio
which i installed back into my computer.ill use this till i get more info about
reinstalling nero in my computer.if u here of anything let me no please.tanks.
