In House Review - Plextor PX-608CU 8x USB 2.0 DVD±RW/RAM

Today CDRLabs takes a look at Plextor's ultra-portable DVD writer, the PX-608CU. Based loosely on the Pioneer DVR-K16, this stylish and compact drive is capable of 8x DVD±R, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW, 4x DVD±R DL and 5x DVD-RAM writing speeds and a maximum DVD read speed of 8x. The PX-608CU can also be powered off a computer's USB bus, giving you the ability to burn CD's and DVD's wherever you go.

Using Alex Noe's Weak Sector Utility we were able to determine that the PX-750A is a "two sheep" burner. This means that the PX-608CU is capable of backing up titles protected by SafeDisc 2, including version 2.51.

That's because you're lucky to have both available!

Here in Denmark the Plextor drive is available while the Pioneer drive is not. Oddly enough I can buy the Plextor drive cheaper here ($173 + VAT) right now than your listed price excluding the 25% Danish VAT (sales tax)!
