I checked Pioneer's website today and noticed that they have a bunch of new drives for the US retail market. Some of these we've seen before.. others are new. Take note that not all are equal.
DVR-R200 (DVR-111C) - LightScribe and 16x DVD±R, 8x DVD±R DL, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW and 5x DVD-RAM write
DVR-1810 (DVR-112D) - 18x DVD±R, 10x DVD±R DL, 8x DVD+RW and 6x DVD-RW write. Does NOT write to DVD-RAM.
DVR-2810 (DVR-212D) - SATA with 18x DVD±R, 10x DVD±R DL, 8x DVD+RW and 6x DVD-RW write. Does NOT write to DVD-RAM.
DVR-X122 (DVR-112) - 18x DVD±R, 10x DVD±R DL, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW and 12x DVD-RAM write.
It's too bad they don't offer an internal model with 12x DVD-RAM write. Even the OEM models listed (DVR-112D and DVR-212D) lack this.
