What is the best all-in-one DVD copy software?

Postby shakenbake on Fri Apr 13, 2007 11:04 pm

I am looking for the best DVD Copy Software available, with frequent updates and full customer support. I do not want some combination of freeware downloads. Originally I wanted to buy DVDXCopy, but according to http://www.dvdxcopy.com , DVD X Copy Platinum is no longer being sold. I went to http://www.dvdxcopyreviews.com and there are some interesting software programs for DVD copying, but has anyone ever used one of these? If not one of these, which one do you suggest?

I still use DVD Shrink for most of the copying I do. I just create an ISO file with it. If the disc has copy protection, I'll rip it using it the free version of DVD Fab.

dvdshrink with dvd region free running in the background to get rid of any copy protection that could exist

shrink makes an iso image which decrypter then burns automatically at 6x

start to finish takes maybe 20 minutes

If you want an all-in-one commercial piece of software, I would probably suggest either AnyDVD + CloneDVD or a commercial version of DVD Fab Decrypter (DVD Fab Gold or DVD Fab Platinum).

Ditto for me.

Note: DVD Decrypter burning speed is dependent on your burner and the settings you choose.

Note2: Total start to finish time depends on how much re-encoding is occurring, your system specs (CPU/RAM) and your drives' ripping speed.
