You're going to need to elaborate a little. What are you trying to create an iso of? What software?

The iso should work fine on both DVD+R DL and DVD-R DL media. Are you seeing an error or something when writing to DVD-R DL? If so, what error? Also, what brand of media are you using?

It might just be a media/drive incompatability. RiData DL media is pretty crappy, and the whole DVD-RDL format is pretty poorly supported in general. It's a really bad combination right there.

I think DD is right, it sounds like a media-problem on 2nd layer. Try other media

BTW, i saw nice results with -R DL-media from Verbatim
Benq DW 1640 and 1650 , Plextor PX-755, Pioneer BDR-208 and 209D, LG GH24NSC0, LG BH16NS40 and 16NS55, Liteon ihas 124F and 324F, Pioneer DVR-215 and S21, Samsung SH-224DB and 224GB, and some more

I recorded in the Ridata DVD-R DL when I lowered for iso without problem some
The problem now is that create the image and am going to record gives problem in the hour to changing the layer
I do not think it is incompatibility
My recorder is a Pionner 110D with firmware 8,37 Buffalo

Like everyone else in this thread already said, it probably is a problem or incompatibility due to 1) poor quality DL media from Ritek AND/OR 2) The use of the DVD-R DL format.

If you want to record DL DVD's, always stick with Verbatim DVD+R DL for best results.
