News submit?

Maybe I'm just blind, but does CDRLabs have a news submit anywhere? Maybe try to avoid things like this :wink:

It's on my list of things to do. I'd like to do something besides putting our news email address on the front page.

If you're worried about spam, you could always break up the link like "news AT cdrlabs DOT com" or something.

I don't know how feasible it would be, but what about something like an online form? Something like posting to the forum, allowing a subject/body, that would go directly to site admins?

Again, I know nothing about web development, so don't know how feasible that would actually be...

PHP contact form code is easily found on the net.
Hides the email address on the backend and allows web users an easy way to contact site admins.

Yeah, I downloaded one the other day but we need to implement some captcha code so we don't get spammed to death.

And I have only gotten one spamail so far...

In other news, I do get an insane amount of comment spam on my WordPress articles. I even enabled a "challenge" feature that asks a comment submitter what planet we live on, and I'm still getting spam comments. Luckily the Akismet Spam plugin catches most of it automagically.

I just disabled the challenge plugin because it was not helping at all...
