Some people need major meaning in a name. For me, it's more important that a name pass the playground test. When you think of a name that sounds good, think hard for a few minutes if any obvious K-12 insults can be made from said name. If they can, scratch the name and find another.
So, my names tend to be fairly simple (no Ivy League stuff), but solid. James would be a good example. I would have said Jonathan, but you already have a John.
