Hi coosanders,

With the Nero 7 Retail build, Nero now provide 'free' MP3Pro and MP3 encoding, unlimited.

If you have an OEM version of Nero 7 that comes bundled with a Recorder, then its up to the OEM to determine what they bundle with the drive. In most cases, 99% of the time, they will only offer the 30 day MP3Pro/MP3 trial.

With Nero 6 Retail, we offered the MP3Lame encoder, which allowed unlimited MP3 encoding once you registered. And we offered MP3Pro 30 day trial.

Best Regards,

Craig

If you are looking for a great audio conversion tool, I can highly recommend dbpoweramp. It's $18, so it won't break the bank. It includes
an excellent .mp3 encoder (LAME 3.97), and also encodes .mp4 files.
It can encode and decode many other formats too such as Shorten and Flac. http://www.dbpoweramp.com/. Itunes includes an .mp3 encoder but it sucks. I spent a lot of time looking for a great
.mp3 encoder for XP and dbpoweramp was very well reviewed so I tried it and found it well worth the money.
