can you make a copy of a dvd to video tape with a dvd player and a vcr?

You could, but the macrovision on many dvd's would make a nice rainbow effect on the video tape for you.

Depends on the equipment you have. Some older or lucky VCR's don't respond to macrovision and there are boxes for removing it still floating around, depends on what youir making a dvd from too, if it's home made stuff shouldn't be a problem. A lot of recorders respond to the digital copy protection and will just say copy not permitted too so you wont know till you give it a try.

if you're taping "My Little Pony" again, it probably won't matter as there's lots of rainbows in that movie.

Otherwise, I'd not even bother trying it.

In that case I'd make a backup DVD first to remove Macrovision protection... :wink:

ati tv wonder usb 2.0

hi gang
im trying to convert my old video tapes with this new ati tv wonder and the picture from the video are jumpy,there are this white line at the top
of the picture,the scenes skip,how can i fix this?these r tape without copy
protection regular tdk video tape.any suggestion as to fix this problem??
