R2D2 Projector!?

This is probably one of the coolest things I've seen at CES so far. Along with the projector, it has an integrated CD/DVD player and even supports MP3, MP4 and jpeg files.

I bet it will be at least $500, if not more. They know Star Wars fans will pay that much.

I'm guessing more then $1000 actually. Projectors on their own are pricey!
Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R

Yeah, but I don't think this one is very high quality. Hasbro is actually selling a projector for kids that sells for less than $200.

It would also come in handy for re-routing power to the shield generator.

Check out the flip out iPod port and onboard speakers. The only thing it doesn't have is a beer tapper. Maybe that will be in the C3PO version.

According to Gizmodo, they're going to release some Tie fighter speakers to go along with the R2D2 projector.
