With the latest firmware, the supported write speeds in ImgBurn only shows 2.4X.
Oh well, no big deal as I also ordered the 8X discs from newegg. When I'm not in a hurry, I'll use the 2.4X and when I am it will be the 8X. The speed I burn on the 8X might still be 4X, but I'll worry about that when I get to it.
Almost forgot, there is no analog plug for the 1655, but a two-pin digital sound plug exists that has a D and a G as indicators on the top. What is this for and do I need it? I have something that looks like digital plugs, but I'm not sure if I can use it. It's two-pin female on both ends and has the following codes written on it:
