"You cannot make another search so soon after your last

Postby dodecahedron on Wed Nov 01, 2006 6:12 pm

when i log in i click on the "View posts since last visit" link, keep that open and view the unread threas in other tabs, so i can keep track of which i haven't read yet (red color).

lately (since the last forum upgrade?) i keep getting this error:
"You cannot make another search so soon after your last; please try again in a short while."
this happens if i hit F5 too quickly in the window that has the "View posts since last visit".
this never happend before.
what's up? did you introduct a minimum waiting time on searches ?

If we did, it wasn't intentional. I'll take a look at the config and see if I can turn that off.

Yeah, it is annoying. A few other forums I visit have it set to 30 seconds. This is a total pain if I don't find what I'm looking for on my first try.

In any case, the time is now set to 0 (it was set to 15). Let me know if that does the trick.
