what is your drive? we need to know the exact model.
if you don't know, most burning programs will tell you.
you can also use Nero InfoTool or Nero CDSpeed, you can get them from
www.cdspeed2000.com if you don't already have them (which you do if you have Nero installed).
there's no such thing as 48x CDRWs. most likely what you have is 48x CDRs.
can you give more information on what these CDRs are? what brand? and if you can use CDSpeed or InfoTool to find out the manufacturer or ATIP code.
if your drive is only 24x capable, it can still burn the 48x CDRs (though the burn quality might not be the greatest, it will probably still be OK, depending on what media you have).
