Why Does It Take Longer To Burn With Nero 7

I'm starting to do more testing with Nero 7 and one thing I noticed was that it takes longer to burn the same things with this version than with Nero 6.

For example, I'll burn a 4.37GB disc image with Nero 6 and it will take 10:35. The same image with the same drive takes 11:51 with Nero 7. Can someone tell me why Nero 7 needs to take an additional 1:16 to burn the same image?

This and the fact that it doesn't give me the elapsed burn time (have to manually figure it out) make it worthless to me for testing purposes. Grr..

Hmm, this is the first I've heard of this, and to be honest, I've never compared the two programs burn times.

I'm too busy to do the testing in the next two weeks, but I'll have it tested ASAP, and post my findings here. If I confirm your results, I'll create a Task Tracker so the Engineers can look into it as well.
