25-pack Maxell CD-R Pro Series (Made in Japan) $2.04

Hi guys, I haven't been here in a few years, but you people are the ones who introduced me to slickdeals, fatwallet, etc. Those sites have made me a lot of money, so I want to give something back. This deal was mentioned on the FatWallet Office Depot Clearance thread, and I confirmed it in-store.

Maxell CDR Pro 25-pack for $2.04

These are Made In Japan, so I'm thinking these must be high-quality Taiyo Yuden CDRs. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

Note: this is a clearance item, so stock varies totally from one store to the next. Also, the shelf tag said $19.99 in my store, but they scanned for $2.04. To be sure of the price, you can check the price at the kiosk or Ink Depot computer (search for item #654697). At this point, you can click on "Check Other Stores For Availability" to see if nearby ODs have any in-stock.

Also on clearance:

SKU: 314768 CD-R,MUSIC,SPINDLE,50PK $9.04
SKU: 314944 DVD-R,PRINTABLE,100PK $27.04
SKU: 314824 DVD+R,PRINTABLE,100PK $27.04

They are MORE then just Taiyo Yuden, they are triple coated for extra protection, and are one of the best CD-Rs in terms of quality and longevity that you can get in North America without resorting to gold media.

And yes, Taiyo Yuden *IS* the base disc under the coatings

Since I don't know diddly-squat about CDRs, I don't understand your "gold" comment. I just want to point out that these CDRs are gold colored.

By the way, since this has been posted on the FW Clearance thread, people are probably already hunting for them, SO HURRY!
