Samsung drives for scanning DVDs...

How accurate are they? CDSpeed will work with them (with a minor registry tweak ), and KProbe seems to work...they do use the same chipset as Litey's do, right?

Obvisiously, not as good as my BenQs for it, but I'd like to save some wear & tear on my two best drives

Also fairly obvious, I am fully aware that the quality scan is just how well the scanning drive does with the disc....case in point: crappy scans from an NEC 3540, good scans from a PX-716. The NEC has ALOT of trouble reading discs the Plex doesn't even slow down on. BIG differance in quality...

I think it´s similar to Liteon-drives.

But I would prefer a Liteon because this new scantool at cdfreaks can scan jitter with this drives
