Maybe Prodisc sells better grade stuff to certain brands? It wouldn't be that unusual. Maxell and Verbatim brand Ritek tend to do a lot better then generic Ritek and RiData brand Ritek.

heheh maybe but I steer far clear of any DVD media from Ritek as far as possible.
