dodecahedron wrote:what speed media tests should be posted ?
example:
i have a couple of TY spindles, apparently not that great. rated 8x, i usually burn at 4x to get better writing quality out of it. it can also (sometimes) burn at 12x.
what speed should i post? only the fasted the drive will do ? only the rated speed ? all of the speeds at which i tested ?

dodecahedron wrote:just that i thought that it might "burnden" the forum with many posts, and maybe most people aren't interested in anything less than the fastest, or less than the rated speed, so maybe i shouldn't post those.

sorry about that, i just reread MediumRare's post and responded to the comment that this is the ONLY forum etc.. it's that way at cdfreaks all the time. not logged in = no pics.

dodecahedron wrote:moreover it would make sense for the discussion to be here, in this forum. maybe it's possible to construct some mechanism where there are thread the discuss media testing in this forum, in the DVD Writers forum they would get lost. make create subforums - one for discussing media testing, the other for the actual scans ?
