TDK Ships Blu-ray Media In Japan

According to Akiba PC Hotline, TDK's BD-R and BD-RE media has shown up in Japan.

It looks like TDK's 25GB BD-R media is going for 1,980 Yen or about $17US. The 25GB BD-RE media is pricier at 2,780 Yen or $24US.

Has anyone seen this media in the US yet? It's supposedly shipping.

So HDDVD gets the first player, but BluRay get's the recordable media out first.

Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R
