Rollergirls for about 15 minutes when I realized they weren't going to have any real Roller Derby with skating and wrasslin' on it.

I don't think I've seen that since I was a young child. Do they still do that anywhere?

They tried it a few years ago on The Nashville Network just before they switched it to Spike TV.
It wasn't very good.
I remember the old Los Angeles Thunderbirds of 40 years ago.
Greatest team of all time in all sports.
They were always behind starting the 4th quarter.
They never lost.
You were always on the edge of your chair wondering if this would be their first loss.
One thing that I always appreciate about Roller Derby and Wrasslin' as compared to all the stick and ball sports on TV.
When they're over, they're over and you can watch what is next.
Baseball, hockey, football and basketball and all that drivel are never over when they are supposed to be over.
If the TV Guide says basketball starts at 6 and ends at 8, then at 8 is when the intentional fouls start and it really isn't over for another 20 or 30 minutes. Same with football and all the rest.
Now check WWE wrasslin' tonight, on USA Network from 9 to 11PST (your time zone may vary, Other Terms and Conditions Apply).
When the clock strikes 11, it will be over.
