Yeah, but that doesn't do those of us in the US any good.
I think Dolph said ours was going to show up in the next week or so.

Do we have an agreement on what's the best lightscribe DVD burner out?
Also, I wanted to clarify something. I was definately looking for one that can burn Dual Layer discs at high speed. I use the Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL discs and my Sony burner can burn then at 4x. Can any Lightscribe drive overburn?
So I guess what I'm asking is what is the best drive that can burn a fast, high quality lighscribe disc, while supporting fast Dual Layer overburn? From the looks of things, it seems the Benq 1655 is the way to go.
dolphinius_rex wrote:One thing I should point out is that overburning DVDs has never worked properly... and over burning dual layer media is asking for even more trouble. I doubt any drive can do it.

AHH!!!! Overspeeding!!! Thanks.
Dolph,
You are 100% right about overburning. Sorry.
Anyway, back to my original concern....does the Benq 1655 support overspeeding? How about any of the existing lightscribe drives?
Thanks!
