I would like to write some scripts/batch files under Windows to automate the creation AND VERIFICATION of DVD's that will be long-term data archives using my NEC 3550.
I note that there is a command line for nero 6 (which I have). I see it in the nero directory - nerocmd.exe. If I execute it in a dos box, it shows a long list of parameters you can specify. While I have yet to go into this in detail, I would guess that this will permit me to create the DVD archive.
But I need to find some command line quality tester for DVDs as the nero DVDSpeed does not appear to offer a command line. I envision a program that tests written media against some specified threshold for different error rates. It should result 0 is the actual errors are <= the threshold specified and > 0 if higher. Does anyone have any suggestions for this part of my routine?
Thanks.
