Hi all,
Recently, my Pioneer dvd-106/s has stopped playing movies. When I insert a disc, the lights flash but the drive doesn't spin up, it just ejects the disc. It reads dvd games fine for some reason.
I have just reinstalled Windows XP Pro and two games, F.E.A.R. and Call of Duty 2, both on dvd. The drive was working fine until I installed these games.
Could this be related to the copy protection used on these games? Does anyone have any other ideas why this would be happening?
