Plextools Professional XL or Kprobe

Postby disk2 on Thu Sep 08, 2005 5:26 pm

Excuse me if this is not the correct forum to ask my q'n.

I would like to know if the plextools professional XL is better than Kprobe as the last one is as far as i have been informed only good for a lite-on burner.
Is this correct.

Can anybody compare both of the above with a good review regarding + / - for both.

Thanks.

I'll make it easy on you. Plextools only works with Plextor drives. Not those from Lite-On.

Thanks for the reply.

So if i understand correctly the Plextools is the one for me to instal and not the Kprobe.

Final q'n, yesterday Plextor tells me that when i instal Plextools Professional this is free, but Plextoos Professional XL should be paid for.

I like the fact that i can check my discs like in the XL version wich the non XL version doesn't have so many options.

Any adivce what to do?

i think the free version is good enough.

Yes, i think the best thing would be just to try the free version and see from there.
Thanks.

I also think the free version of PlexTools is good enough... and check my title!

I don't use it a whole lot, but when I do, I've never thought to myself "Man, I sure which I had the XL version around now...."
