I bought a PC game over on Ebay. The disc that came with the game, looks different, from a real, store-bought copy that I bought back in 1995. The bottom looks silver like a regular pressed CD. But the top label is lighter in color, and starting to flake off. The label looks like it has printed "mesh" design, made up of dots (Silkscreen effect) or (like a dot-matrix printer uses). It may be different because the versions of the game are different? Text files on both CD's say different versions of the game.
Nero says the disc application used was "DisComposer 1.01". Does this mean the disc is actually a CD-R? How can I make sure that discs are CDROM and not fake CD-R? If the ATIP is faked, is there any other way?
