How fast is too fast?

extract hidden data from CD

Postby newnews on Fri Feb 25, 2005 4:21 pm

Hi,

I have a strange CDROM disc. when I insert the cd in to computer, it gives a menu to play video(avi type) , but when browsing in windows explorer, it shows tif pictures and one software for viewing pics. Now I want to extract the avi file to HDD for editing. I guess it is encrypted and I use isobuster to read, same result as it in explorer. Anyone have suggestion?

Thanks

Open the CD in Explorer->hit Ctrl+A->drag the contents to a folder->open folder and go to Tools->Folder Options->View->Hidden Files and Folders and set to show->hit Ctrl+A->right-click on a file and go to properties->set Attributes to Archive only.
