quietest dvd rom and combo drive

hi everyone

I need a quiet dvd rom ,its my top priority ,i will not backup any data nor ill do dae i just want to use it in my living room so noise is my absolute concern.

I already had a very reliable pioneer 115
I was reading user reviews of different dvd roms. I think LG drives are the quietest .anyone used the aopen combo drive ?.

you can use Nero DriveSpeed to control the drive's reading speed - keep it down to 1x or 2x.

will it work on a Pioneer 115,any recommendation on LG 8163 or Toshiba 1912 .Which one has better error correction for dvd and cd media ?
