Hi,
I wonder if there are big differents on perfomance on Plextor px-716 ???
Because Im living in Sweden and the SATA havent come out here yet, I have been waiting for 3 weeks and asked a lot swedish computer site if they are going to get that soon but they dont know anything about it.
Whats the different between them ???

I haven't noticed any difference in performance between the two. My motherboard only has room for two IDE devices (both used) and so I used one of the 4 SATA connectors to add an additional optical drive to my system.

Performance increase, no...convenient, yes!
