whats the best software to use for some drag and drop data bakups just for storage that supports single layer and dl. i just got a liteon dl 832s, ive read many posts and cannot make a decision. i already have a good dvd bakup program but am confused as to which prog would be best for basic data bakup and maybe a system restore or 2.
thanx in advance.

Anyway, a cloned hard drive is the best protection. Norton Ghost has bailed me out on many occasions ( for a complete restore ) and you can pick up a hard drive fairly cheap.

For data only protection, you could set up all or most of your programs to save to a specific folder. You could then use Nero to create a data disk and select verify data to be certain that you have a good burn. I still don't trust dvd media for long term storage because its still a relatively new product.. . but thats just my opinion. Try this thread for drag to disk-

Or use a better topic description. Opinion? Opinion on what?
