Plextor PX716A rip-speed

Anyone noticed/heard of that this drive has a rip-speed-limiter "feature"? If I am not mistaken my old Pioneer A06 could rip alot faster (with the appropriate firmware of course :)). Anyone knows if a similar "fix" is available for the PX716 drive since it is really slow ripping...

Install Plextools if you haven't already and set it to Speed-Read for CD/DVD (it's in the drive settings tab)

For even greater ripping speeds, install SlySoft's AnyDVD and enable the Speed Control feature.
