EAC 0.90beta2 - no sound from ripped songs

Postby Jarik on Wed Dec 31, 1969 11:33 pm

I own a Lite-on 48x cd-rom and Teac 24x10x40x cd-rw and have EAC 0.90beta2 installed on Windows XP Pro. EAC chose the Lite-on as the 1st choice to extarct audio but when I extracted a track off Madonna's new cd I don't hear a thing. I created a .wav file and .mp3 file but I couldn't hear a thing from either format. Is there something I forgot to setup?

BTW I'm using the lastest version of Lame to extract mp3s within EAC.

With this Lite-On CD-ROM I can't perform DAE at all - none of extracton programs work. EAC completely freezes when I try to extract a track in Windows 2000...

Choose TEAC and enjoy the speed and DAE quality of this drive. :P

Thanks Han,

Worked like a charm. I don't know why EAC chose the Lite-on cd-rom over the Teac cd-rw as the best chose to extract audio.

:D

By default EAC chooses the first CD/DVD drive on the list (alphabetically)...
