Postby hotmamma on Mon Sep 27, 2004 2:55 am

Hi people
could someone help me if they can , as to when i use my dvd shrink,it will sometimes let me burn, and sometimes not.
It will start to anlysi, then stop, then say its protected, and wont let me use the backup.
other times i can finish.
how many sercuirty codes does a dvd have on its disc?
im not sure the fastest way to copy either, as sometimes im here for 2 hours just doing 1 dvd.
I anlysi, then i do backup, then i just sit and watch.
any ideas why it takes so long.

Decrypt the DVD first using DVD Decrypter. www.google.com find it.

If the DVD is scratched or you have a fairly pokey computer, it'll slow things down a fair bit or stop them all together.

Yeah use File mode in DVDDecrypter and also check the disc for fingerprints. You might also play the disc with PowerDVD,WinDVD,etc for a few seconds to unlock the drive.
