The monitor is nice, but I had some problems with the 191T I first bought. I had to exchange it four times because of toooo many dead pixels out of the box. I bought it at BB, then returning it for a ViewSonic VX900. No problems.

I really like the fact that you can rotate it and the slim line. But, I had no luck with it. Anyways good luck.

Monte,
You might want to give ViewSonic a try.

Good luck with the return. Hopefully they will give you no hassles.

There is only one good way to buy a LCD monitor. Go to Staples, Circuit City or Office Depot and ask them to open the box and check it out right there and then. Look it over closely for dead pixels and other defects.

If they won't agree to that, ensure that they have a no questions asked, no restocking fee, cash refund return policy.

Monte,
Samsung will be sending you another refurbished monitor. Make sure that they give you a warranty. When I had the problems with the 191T, they suggested I go back to BB and have it replaced by them because otherwise I would get a refurbished one from them.

Slim makes a good point.

Good luck.

elegant looking speakers. :)

BTW what is that program on the screen in the 2 last picstures?

BTW that primitive, archaic cellphone is out of place in that pic. it ruins the picture. get a new one :D

BTW isn't it time you changed your ameoba-looking avatar?

the fact that it does 1600x1200 is what I would like about it, but this samsung is an 1.3' bigger and very clean.

Does the Dell do 32bit at 16x12 because this one won't sadly
