angry Roxio Customer... decided to take another route, help!

EMC7 was the software I used. Hell of problems with, first it was just hanging out on startup then fixed it with a patch, then It conflicted with Alcohol120 virtual drive and I had to apply another type of patch and now after formating and install XPSP2 it doesn't work at all

Now I decide to throw away that POS but what I always liked with EMC7 is it doesn't mess with data files on both mac and pc (I'm multiplatform user) .

I don't know if it possible to recreate such a system files in NERO. I always complained that NERO messed up with the system files when comes reading the CD/DVD in a Mac player (8 charactered file names in capital letters and the discs are barely readable).

PLUS, Caching in NERO takes forever. For instance, I take 4gb of datas and when I start burning, it take almost 10 mins to cache the files before doing any burns. PAIN!

So I'll appreciate the help here if you have good advice. THANKS

I'm using EMC7 with Alcohol and Win XP2 without any issues. I also have Nero 6, Clone DVD, AnyDVD loaded. Among all of them, I still prefer EMC7 as the resulting burned DVDs never fail to play in any DVD player I've tried. My only beef is they have not updated EMC7 since April. Not that anything is broken but I want to be able to use it with the latest 16X burners like the Pioneer A108. Now that My Sonic owns this product, Ijust hope they update the drivers more frequently.
