The question, unfortunately, is "who was Audrey Hepburn?"

She was a famous actress, a humanitarian, a mother, an advocate for children, goodwill ambassador to UNICEF, and an extremely stylish, classy and beautiful woman. She was born in 1923 and died in 1993. In terms of her acting career, I always think of "Breakfast at Tiffanys" (1961) first when I think of Audrey Hepburn, although I don't know if that is generally considered her seminal work. Other famous movies she did include "My Fair Lady" and "Roman Holiday".

Here is a picture of her when she was 59 and still beautiful:

You can read more about her here and at many other web sites:

It was time for a change. Retarded Cartman wasn't as funny any more so he's been replaced by Herbert Kornfeld, the Accountz Reeceevable Supervisor at Midstate Office Supply.

That was going to be Jamie's new avatar, but the one he has now is even scarier looking.

Wow, Spaz- you have a neat new avatar! It even looks a bit like you...

Time for a change here too (can't keep up with Alejandra though). I seem to be migrating to fortune tellers for my avatars. Maybe this is appropriate considering that my main interest is burn quality diagnostics (an increasingly murky pursuit).

This gypsy has always been a favourite of mine: Caravaggio: The Fortuneteller.

This painting (the original is in the Louvre) was on the Italian 100,000 Lira note. This is rather ironic because:
- Caravaggio had anything but an exemplary lifestyle
- the girl is actually stealing a ring from the guy's finger !
What does that say about those who issue(d) these bank notes?
