I bought the I/O magic dvd+/-rw drive last week. In the box was a BTC 1008. Not the world's greatest dvd burner, but for the price of a combo, I can get a taste of dvd burning. Does very well at reading and writing of cd's and is tolerant of all media. I am still obtaining media to check its dvd writing abilities. Drive is ok for casual dvd user who doesn't want to give up cd writing abilities.
