Not entirely true... Memorex does have *SOME* standards... I mean, they did eventually ditch Ritek as a supplier didn't they
But seriously, you'll find much worse Ritek media out there then Memorex would have... in fact, Memorex's Ritek media would likely be quite good. Ritek's policy on media sales is to give the best stuff to the big brand labels... which WOULD have been Maxell, Memorex, and Samsung (before they switched) as well as TDK, Traxdata and probably one or two others I'm not thinking of.
