Ok none on that list are of a good quality even for the price

It seems that they all use a cmos sensor (bad in low light and produces fuzzy pics)

You might want to try the Fuji FinePix a205 ( can be found for $99)

It is only a 2 mega pixel camera but it has a ccd sesor and optical zoom (3x) and auto focus

If you must get a 3 mega pixel the a210 is around $129USD also has a ccd sesor and optical zoom and auto focus

I agree CMOS sensor cams generally suck. Look at some of my pictures that I have taken with my vivitar 2MP camera here on cdrlabs. Always fuzzy and doesnt work very well in low light. It was a $150 camera around christmas. It is getting replaced soon. I read some reviews on the fujis he recommended and they all seem good. The cannon powershot a60 and look great and are around your budget. I might pick one up myself :)

CMOS sensors are kinda old now. They dont offer the quality as compared to their CCD counterparts.I have a Sony Handycam with a 3 MP digital camera, and it is a beauty. Its costly though,at around 1700 USD.But I would surely go by Sony.I have never lbeen lucky with Mercury/Kobian.I have had faulty or low performing motherboards, mice and keyboards.I will never recommend Mercury to anybody.
