you have the package of the toy so many years later ?? i'm impressed.
dodecahedron wrote:mine looks very much like this, but it was metallic dark sky-blue, with yellow landing gear. i don't remember if it had the stripes on the wing and the front of the hull.
also the Thunderbird 4 i have, i dont' think it had all those paintings and decals on it, just red for the exhaust and black for the windshield. as i recall.
i'll have to look and see if i still have it.
i'm still amazed of the coincidence of discovering someone else who has this toy!

dodecahedron wrote:all i can say is WOW. what a collection.
those Thunderbirds are awesome!
that big 2- WOW!!!
like i said, my small one was blue. do you remember what the right color in the series was? based on your toys i'm guessing it was green.
BTW i didn't have a set, just Thunderbird 2 (and 4 inside it of course).
dodecahedron wrote:you don't have Thunderbird 5 and 6?
i can't ever remember what 5 was. 6 was a space station, right?
was 5 the one that bore into the earth or was that 3?
Alejandra wrote:It was a sixties series of marionettes called Thunderbirds, a non profit, no goverment organization called International Rescue that helped people in the most dagerous situations, it was quite good for its time.

As you know, I haven't posted for a while, and I was very negatively surprised when I visited CDRLabs tonight and saw all this. I used to like CDRLabs because the members were friendly and nothing inappropriate was posted here. Whatever happened to that? I now feel embarrassed that I have recommended this site to others.
Alejandra wrote:Sorry, but your avatar seems to me very inappropriate.
I left my forum moderator hat at home so I'll leave it up to you guys to clean it up.
I was thinking to add some pics of me, but maybe they are offensive too.
CowboySlim wrote:Alejandra, let 'em rip. How can I say that they are not offensive to me until I see them.
