best cd software to burn good cds and cue files

Postby DB7713 on Sat Apr 03, 2004 2:07 am

I've been using Nero but it recently decided that it's not going to work for me so i'm wondering what's some good software to burn cue files along with good cd's! I download the files then make the bin and cue then just burn the cue which burns the bin! So any input is well appreciated and if it's free then it's even better! Thanks!

Any writer which is capable of Disc-At-Once and Track-At-Once should burn cue/bin images successfully. It's more likely your images are bad. Try to mount or extract them with DAEMON Tools or IsoBuster first...

ok Han, will having this installed mess up my DVDXCopy Express? Also, how do you do this and what does it do>? I'm trying to burn vcds and svcds with these bin/cue files! So is this the right thing to have to do this?

With tools like IsoBuster or UltraISO you can look into the image and copy the files out of it. I'm not familiar with (S)VCD bin images, but DAEMON Tools should emulate them as any other virtual CD, so try that before writing. The program shouldn't mess up your DVDXCopy Express.

the funny thing is that yesterday i burned about 4 cd's doing the same thing then when i tried to burn the 5th it wouldn't work and I even tried to burn one of the ones i already made and that didn't work! I used VCDGear to convert them to mpeg and tried to burn and that didn't work either! I'm really confused so i might just watch em on my computer but I would really like to have them on cd's!!
