Well, the more I read, the more I am confused. I live in Brazil and I am buying my first DVD burner. I want to know which drive will suit me better, given these parameters:

a) It will be used for DVD back ups primarely
b) I want to spend $100 tops (although I've seen the dvr-107d on pricewatch.com for $109 and would go for it)
c) My system will be a XP 2.6 333mz, MSI K7N2, FX5700 128mb, IBM 120Gb 7200rpm HD, Corsair 512mb PC3200

So guys, whats the verdict?
I am thinking about the ND2500, the Sony 530a and the Pioneer dvr-107d (which costs about $30 more expensive than the NEC ND2500a)

I appreciate all the help!
Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply!
BTW, nice computer system you got there! With my salary, I would have to work 3 months eating only 1 meal a day to afford a PC like that!!
