Ski jumping in the fog

The last ski jumping competition of the season (Holmenkollen in Oslo) is on TV right now. This is really funny

because it's so foggy that you can just see the start of the jumps and watch the athletes fade into white! No idea how far they go or if they land OK until the commentator tells you. These guys are crazy.

You're right. I snagged a couple of pictures from TV. The first one show the jump from the top, and the second one shows one of the better jumps. :roll:

The pictures don't look that great in the browser. :roll:

I'll try and get a better version posted later.

Those pictures are great, MediumRare. They show up well in my browser and really convey the lunacy of these athletes. :wink:

Well I just replaced them with some with lower compression.

cfitz- yours don't show up at all.

OK now they did. My provider is a bit funny sometimes.
