Thanks... and actually, I do know a couple people in the U.S. that could help me, but the next DVD burner I buy will be the NEC 2500, the next LG DVD burner (after the 4082B!) or something along those lines. I buy drives for 2 reasons:
1. Outright burn quality (which is why I have the Pioneer DVR-107)
2. A lot of other people have the same drive, and can relate to my testing
if I can combine both reasons, then I purchase the drive
so since NEC and LG drives are very popular right now, and both fairly good burners, they are more likely to be future purchases for me. ...first I need a second computer though!
