Burner #6 is coming home!!

Postby dolphinius_rex on Fri Feb 27, 2004 10:13 pm

I have just received word that after 3 months of being lost and abused, my Yamaha CRW-F1 has been returned to the sender's address. So soon it will be re-sent, with a bloody TRACKING NUMBER, and back on it's way home to me! :D :D :D

It never even made it into Canada... :o From what we can tell, it stopped at customs and eventually made it's way back.

I'm *VERY* excited!

congrats.

BTW, why don't you even want a CRW-F1 ?
tatoos? or just another testing bed?

I want it for a number of reasons. First as another testing drive. The Yamaha CRW-F1 is still named as the best quality drive by some, as is the Plextor Premium, which is why I have both (or will have both). The Disc T@2 feature is EXTRA funky, which I will not likely use on a regular basis, but you better believe I will from time to time to show off :P

So now I've got an LG, LiteON (x2), Plextor, Pioneer, and Yamaha brand burner... I'm thinking maybe AOpen next?

Oh, by the way, the model of Yamaha drive I picked up is the black one :D I'm getting shivers just thinking about it! :D

Maybe... if I can find one, they aren't very popular around here.
