One of my favorite Mp3 ripping programs, Audiograbber is now freeware. Not as complex as Exact Audio Copy, but has a easy to learn interface. Great for fast ripping clean CD's with Lite-On drives.

I still use EAC+Lame 3.90.2, the best combo IMO.
Both are free.

my new combo is Audiograbber 1.83 + Lame 3.95.1,

ive used EAC before, its ok, i like audiograbber's menu systems and such though

Im still using 3.93, proably need to upgrade. I didnt know there was a new version of Lame out.

That's what I use and it encodes very fast.If you use CDex and have scratched CD's then in Settings->CD Drive->Ripping Method,choose "Paranoia,Full".IsoBuster is also very good at ripping scratched CD's to WAV.

When AudioGrabber was new it was special. As of now it's just a decent app for ripping in burst mode. Jakie was promissing some sort of secure mode already years ago, but nothing came of that.

Although I had bought AudioGrabber, I stopped using it as soon as I got used to EAC, which has always been free. There's nothing compares to the secure mode of EAC. It takes a bit of learning how to configure it properly for your drives, and it's slower than ripping in burst mode, but it saves me a lot of time by not having to listen to the tracks before burning them. It's the only ripper I trust. If it's says ripping was good, it IS good.
