Maybe you can buy Ricoh DVD+R 4x under other brand names. Try various 4x DVD+R media locally available and you will be able to find out which one is capable of 8x DVD+R writing. Most brand names in the UK are not available here in East Asia so I don't know. Why not read some threads related to this subject at
