Plex 708A firmware v. 1.03

Has anyone had any problems with this firmware? I am still on 1.01 and have no problems, however, I am wondering if I should upgrade. Does anyone know why Plextor US site is always 1 version behind? Thanks! :roll:

I upgraded to this version and now I can finally burn dvd-r's.I couldnt burn any before.I am using BeAll media. I also have some of the really cheap HQ 1-4X media from meritline that I will try later today.
Pioneer dvr-108,NEC 3540,BenQ 1640,LiteOn 1693S
Intel pentium D 930 oc to 4.2 ghz
2 gb ddr2 1066 mhz ram
geforce 7600GT
sb audigy 2 zs platnum
hardware mpeg2 encoder card

Plextor US seems to be always last in putting updates on their website. I rely on Plextor Europe to download the latest updates.

But, I hear it on CDRLabs first.

The last HQ I had blew during the leadin.Oh well at least its now burning some dvd-rs.
