Pioneer DVR-109 & Nero 6.6.0.6 Speeds?

Is the DVR-109 fully supported in this version? Because i only get up to 32x with a 52x Memorex CD-R in the drive.

is there enough being written on the cd-r for it to reach close to 52x at the end of the burn?

besides even on my 108 i still select 16x for TY media
