Pioneer a06 problem with dvd+r ?

Postby oug on Sun Sep 21, 2003 8:38 am

I have a pioneer a06 and it seems that my drive is acting strange when burning dvd+r media. When the burning process in nero is over, the drive seems not to stop, but it continues writing the lead-out for about 20 more seconds . I have the same experience with dvd+r discs and all the other nero versions i have tried or with discjuggler. With copytodvd and burnatonce, this Lead-out behaviour is not happening, but i get unreadable discs. This is only happening with dvd+r media. Is this behaviour of my drive normal for a pioneer a06 or do i have a faulty one? i use the latest firmware,1.07 but this is happening with all the firmware i have tried. I also use only tdk and philips dvd+r media,so faulty media is not the case
