Pioneer 106 and pixelation on XP50

Postby flash on Tue Dec 30, 2003 11:16 am

I am using DVD Xcopy Express 3.02, Pioneer 106 with 1.07 firmaware and Fujifilm DVD-R. When I play my copies of movies in my Panasonic XP50 DVD player I get massive pixelation throughout the movies but they play fine on my Xbox? Any and all feedback is welcomed. (Xbox is not normally hooked up to main enternainment system so using it as primary DVD player is not an option plus it's not progressive scan)

Is this a media compatibility thing or what?
The label on the DVD-R pack doesn't specify if it is 2X or 4X but....
to use my A06 to copy it takes about 90-120 min to do a express backup.

I've tried to backup my Santa Clause 2 and the movie appears to get 1/2 to 2/3 of the way through when I start having the static and pixelation problems.
